		<description><![CDATA[<p>Yoga Palm Beach is an active participant in the Connected Warriors program. We deliver free yoga classes to service members, veterans and their families. The program was started in 2007 by Judy Weaver, a Yoga teacher at Yoga South in Boca Raton.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yoga Palm Beach is an active participant in the Connected Warriors program. We deliver free yoga classes to service members, veterans and their families.</p>
<p>The program was started in 2007 by Judy Weaver, a Yoga teacher at Yoga South in Boca Raton. At this time, Judy met a young man who walked into the studio looking to learn about yoga. He had just been diagnosed with ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease, and was committed to fighting it to the end. The benefits of Yoga helped not only with his personal struggle with the disease but also with the effects of PTSD that so many of our service men and women experience. Knowing the far reaching effects that Yoga could have on other service men and women, Judy quickly began to develop Connected Warriors by seeking out and training other fellow yoga teachers in the area. We have been inspired and touched by the Connected Warriors program during our own personal training with Judy Weaver and we are truly grateful to have a new studio where we can continue to grow and strengthen the program locally within Palm Beach County.</p>
